# Custom Ticket Fields

> If you ever wanted to add an extra question to your Ticket form, You can now add Custom Ticket Fields.

If you ever wanted to add an extra question to your Ticket form, You can now add Custom Ticket Fields.

Then when buyers answer the custom questions on the ticket form, you will see the answers on each Ticket in Ticket Sales page.

How to Set it up:

- Open your event. In the sidebar, go to Tickets → Custom Fields.

- When the page loads, click Add field to add a question.

- Under Field name, type the label buyers will see (e.g. Company name).

- Under Field type, pick a type — for example Text input, Textarea, or Dropdown (options). (Other types are in the same list if you need them.)

- If you chose Dropdown (options), under Options type each choice and press Enter to add it. Remove an option with the trash icon next to it.

- Turn on Required if buyers must answer before they can finish buying a ticket.

- Click Save. You should see “Custom fields saved” when it works.

What buyers see
On your public event page, the buy ticket form shows these questions. Required ones must be answered before the purchase can go through.

What you get
On Tickets → Sales, open More Details for a ticket to see the saved answers (empty or unused values are left out).
