# Let Attendees Split Their Ticket

> If someone buys a ticket that admits several people, they can hand part of it to friends — each person gets their own ticket to scan at the gate.

When someone buys a ticket that admits several people, they don't have to arrive together. With self-service ticket splitting, the buyer can hand part of their ticket to friends, and each person gets their own ticket to scan at the gate.

## How they split it

- They open the Split tickets page (also linked from their ticket, and from the Fikets footer).

- They enter their ticket and verify with the 6-digit code emailed to the original buyer — this proves they own it.

- They fill in the recipient's name, email and phone, choose how many admissions to hand over, and send.

## Good to know

- The recipient gets their own ticket by email; the original keeps the remaining admissions (it must keep at least one).

- A ticket can only be split before it's checked in — not a used or cancelled ticket.

- They can split more than once, up to one less than the ticket's quantity, and resend a split ticket if the recipient didn't get it.

- Each split ticket is individually scannable with its own unique check-in — so everyone enters independently.
